<~lys> well my mum sent me out to get some groceries, so I get in the minivan that I share with my brother
<~lys> this minivan has lots of problems, but the main one is the parking brake
<~lys> the brake itself works fine, but the thing you pull on to release the brake is broken
<~lys> so lately we haven't been using the parking brake
<~lys> but I get in there and it turns out my brother set the parking brake
<~lys> in order to release it I have to open the door, get out of the car, and reach up under the pedal
<~lys> so I do that
<~lys> turns out I had left the car in reverse

<~lys> so it starts rolling
<~lys> I manage to get inside and put my foot on the brake, but not before the door (which is still open of course) gets caught on the side of my mom's minivan
<~lys> so now the door won't close
