Serne : Delta if every blind person on the planet had laser vision one of two things would happen.
Serne : Case 1 - they would be the lords of the planet. Case 2 - The world would be destroyed in a swath of Laser Eyed destruction.
Delta Sand : I think option 2, yes? Because in option one, they wouldnt know who to lazer to get power, so theyd shoot randomly and it would turn into otion 2.
Delta Sand : And yeah, I suppose they could use sound, Serne, but methinks that would still be a little inacurate. Especially at longer distances.
Delta Sand : lol, Asm0... you made a huge mistake. The question was not "what if everybody in the world had laser vision", it was "what if every BLIND person in the world had laser vision." Please elaborate how an afterimage would affect the aim of someone who cannot actually see it. ^.^
Serne : Actually, as long as the thing they are wanting to aim their vision at is making noise and not obstructed by other things they will be able to locate that target by sound.

Delta Sand 1/6 (Wed - 14:28): I agree, but My point is if they knew that they had it, how would they know where to aim? They wouldnt be able to use it well themselves, hence making it ineffective, and othres couldnt use them because of the same reasons...
KenDx : It depends entirely if they know they have laser vision or not. But actually, it would end up in someone sighted taking over the world with 'em or them being erradicated.
Asm0dean : Hmm that's only a slight misinterpretation of the problem that I did. But we have to look at the bigger picture! :O Think about the seals who will die due to this lazer madness! And we can't forget light pollution that will come of all this laser usage. Did you know that the main reason why sea turtles are dying is because of light pollution? And the number of babies born blind has drastically increased in industrial regions. Thus more and more people will use lasers. That will result in massive killings of seals and sea turtles will practically come extinct! And as the light pollution continues to spread people will suffer from various mental illnesses caused by the tiring light they see everyday. Artificial light causes stress. And add lasers to it and you have a recipe for disaster. Long exposure to very bright light may result in sexual disfunction which means that we'll become extinct too in a long run. End of Tape 1
Delta Sand : Well on the bright side, all of civilization would be destroyed by the uncontrolled lazers shooting around, so i guess the turtles would get to survive... go turtles!
